Bundu Bashers Triumph at Mongoose School Series

Phew, Hectic  !!!! is all I can say to the absolute glut of mountain biking that has taken place over the past few weeks ... All on our door step.
Bundu Bashers is proud to congratulate our own Haley Smith on her win at the World Champs, gone are the days when we would push her up the hills
Congrats also to Bundu Bashers James Reid, Candice Neethling and Evan Van Der Spuy – You are all winners in our eyes, last but not least to the  awesome  Burry Stander for putting in a huge effort to finish second and proving that true mountain bikers hail from the good old Hibiscus Coast.
Following on from this great event, we wish Brett and Liz Karlson, Eric Van Der Spuy , Howard Kelly and Roelof Meyer  and Dura-Cycles Siya Mpofana that has been entrusted to look after their machines. Keep the wheels turning, the legs burning and the wheels upright on the track.
Back to our juniors that were so well Placed in the recent Mongoose School Series Dominique Koeokemoer 3rd, Nicholas De Bruin 1st , Dominic De Bruin 3rd and Stephanie Koeokemoer 5th in their respective races – Well done to you mud suckers, keep it up and one day you may be in the starting line up at the World Championships.
On a more serious note please be aware when riding on your own, we have had a number of reports of bikes being “ Hi Jacked “ – use the buddy system when training and let someone know your route in case of trouble.
There will be the normal four groups leaving from Dura-Cycles at 06h30 – These rides are really a lot of fun with all sorts of entertainment to keep you amused and the ever warm atmosphere and coffee after.
