Southbroom is gearing up to offer runners and walkers the most fun they can have under a full moon. On Friday 5 December 2014, two Night Trails will be set through the spectacular golf course. Full moon and reflective markers will guide the way
Runners and walkers will have the choice of an 8km and 5km course (or shorter if preferred) and are encouraged to wear headlights or to carry a torch.
Trail running has become very popular worldwide for the love of the trails and to gear up fitness. Whilst common in Gauteng and the Cape, the Southbroom Golf Course Night Trail will be a first for the South Coast.
Registration is on the day and starts at 18h00. The trail briefing is at 18h50. Entry includes a scrumptious boerewors roll and lots of lucky draws after the trail – R60 for adults and R40 for scholars.
