The final leg of the SA XC Cup Series was held last weekend in Nelspriet. With some of our local riders it was no question that they had to attend the race to defend there podium positions. With beautiful conditions and a tough technical track. It was no doubt that the racing was going to be tougher than ever. With an impressive result from our ladies section, Haley Smith 1st, Candice Neethling 1st, as well as in the men's section, Evan Van Der Spuy had an epic challenge and ended up 2nd, James Ried 1st. Burry Stander dominated his class to finish over 2mins ahead of second place even with having some technical problems that cost him over 2 mins in the pits. Gary Neethling had an great race finishing in 2nd in Vet B. Moving closer to home, the Howick Super Classic was held last Sunday, Brandon Venter Even after taking a heavy fall landing on his head managed a second in his age Category.
