Amashova

Last Sunday was the infamous Amashova Durban Classic from Pietermaritzburg to Durban with more than 3500 people taking part it is one of the more popular road races on the calendar.  Our famous local boy Burry Stander came in, in 5th place overall in a time of 2h24 and Cherise Taylor was 5th Female in 2h47.  All the time in the saddle doing the ProDeo from Johannesburg to Margate boded well for Brian Lindecke who did a great time of 2h53.  The first Bundu Bashers home in the mountain bike category were Mark and Sandy Bolton together with Johan Potgieter who all did a time of 4h49. Well done to Dave Kinsey who successfully completed his first road race in a time of 3h42. Congratulations to everyone who did the race, there are too many of you to mention everyone.

Hope the training is going well for everyone doing the Berg and Bush at the end of the month.  Not much time left to train so make the most of it.

This Saturday there will be the normal three mountain bike groups going out.  There will also be a road group, so dust down those road bikes and come and join us.  All rides will start at Dura Cycles at 6.30am.
